The welcome ceremony organized by the Hindi Department of SCD

Post Graduate Hindi Department, Satish Chandra Dhawan Government College organized a welcome ceremony for the first year MA students and the birth anniversary of National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. On this occasion, literary, academic and cultural activities were done by the students. The program started by lighting the lamp and offering floral tributes in front of the statues of Maa Sharda and national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. Thereafter, Saraswati Vandana was presented by Rajdeep, a second year MA student and classical dance related to Devostuti was presented by Richa. After this, modeling of students, group dance, poetry recitation etc. were presented. Pushpa Devi and Kanchan Joshi, the topper students of last year's university examination, were honored by the department. After that, all the members of Hindi Sahitya Parishad were honored with sachets and they were given the responsibility of the session 2024-25 in which Renu was given the responsibility of President and Rahul was given the responsibility of Vice President. Similarly, other responsibilities of the council were handed over to Afreen, Rajdeep Kaur, Kanchan Joshi, Hina Kumari, Sapna, Komal, Priyanka, Tanya and Arun.  Ajay, first year M.A. Modeling student, was declared Mr. Fresher and Sukhman was declared Miss Fresher. On this occasion, DDO Madam Principal Suman Lata, Chairperson of the Department Prof. Nishi Arora, Senator Dr. Mukesh Arora, Dr. Monica Jain, Dr. Saurabh Kumar, Dr. Sondeep, Prof. Inderjit Paswan and Dr. Mukesh Kumar from the Sanskrit Department were present in the ceremony and encouraged the students. Extended and enjoyed the function.
