The Red Ribbon Club of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, organized a district-level advocacy meeting for Red Ribbon Clubs in Ludhiana, in collaboration with Director Youth Services, Chandigarh, Punjab. Principal Mrs Suman Lata was the chief guest and  was accorded a floral welcome by Dr .Sukhandeep Kaur and Mrs Nivedita gupta. On the occasion, Shri Davinder Singh Lotte discussed Red Ribbon Club's activities and the harmful effects of drug abuse.Dr. Poonam Kapoor raised awareness about HIV/AIDS.Winners of the reel-making competition on HIV/AIDS awareness were awarded in which Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, secured first place, SDP College second, and SCD College secured third position.

Distinguished guests, including Dr. Iradeep, Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Dr. Kunal Mehta, Prof. Harminder Singh, Advocate Gurpreet Singh, Smt Rekha Bhanot, S.Balbir Singh, Smt Sheetal soyi and other dignitaries attended the event. Isha Pandey, President Red Ribbon society presented vote of thanks.
