SDP College for Women Pays a Musical Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi under Non-Violence Week

Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, on the third day of Non-Violence Week, a musical tribute was paid to the pioneer of Non-Violent resistance in independence struggle, Mahatma Gandhi, by the department of Music, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal presided over the occasion. To mark the day, devotional songs were sung by the students in remembrance of the spiritual leader-Gandhi ji. Towards the end, a patriotic ambience was created as ‘Vaishnav Jan’; favourite bhajan of Gandhi ji, was recited by the whole audience. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, remembered the real heroes of India and further urged the students to follow the path of truth, & Non-Violence and, inculcate spirituality for a better way of living. She also applauded the efforts done by the Department of Music.
