 SDP College for Women Celebrates Hindi Diwas with Zest and Zeal

Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd) & College Managing Committee, ‘Hindi Diwas’ was celebrated by the Department of Hindi, SDP College for Women. Dr. Neetu Handa, a Principal, presided over the occasion. To inaugurate the function, the lamp lightening ceremony was done by Dr.Neetu Handa, Principal and faculty members of the Hindi department, as a tribute to Mother Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge. Students across various streams delivered speeches of recited poems and also gave dance performances.  To honour the day, a play was also performed by the students of the Hindi department. The event provided a platform for students to express themselves in Hindi, emphasizing its importance. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal through her words, enlightened the students by providing various insights on the historical background of Hindi language’s popularity. She also exhorted the students to preserve the rich heritage of Hindi and feel proud in the use of Hindi as the language. Towards the end, she appreciated the efforts made by the Department of Hindi.
