Investiture Ceremony of SCD Student Council Held

SCD Government College, Ludhiana organised an investiture ceremony for the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2024-25. A total of 66 outstanding students from various departments of the college were honoured with their official insignia and badges at the ceremony. Eminent faculty members including Dr Sajla and Dr Saurabh Kumar, in charge of the ceremony, felicitated the students by awarding them sashes and badges for their appointment to various roles within the council.

 

Garima Kaur and Madhav Sharma were appointed Presidents while Harneet Kaur and Sahil Gosain took the role of Vice Presidents. The council members took a pledge to serve with dedication and firm commitment to their responsibilities and concluded the event with the National Anthem.

 

Principal DDO Mrs Suman Lata congratulated the council members and motivated them to work diligently in their roles as they embark on their journey to represent their peers and uphold the values ​​of the college. Professor (Dr.) Gursharan Jeet Singh Sandhu, Dr Hussan Lal Basra and Dr Poonam also graced the occasion with their presence.
