 CII-“Majestic Skill  Will Lead” Event in KIMT

To boost up the industry-institute interface, Confederation of Indian Industry CII-Majestic, Ludhiana organised the 5^th Edition of a week-long programme–Skill-Will-Lead (A Skill Development Initiative) for the students pursuing MBA & Equivalent Courses in Punjab. Under this series, the Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women hosted the event. Mr. Mahesh Munjal (CMD, Majestic Auto Ltd.) was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Mahesh said that the presenter should work on skills like expressions, body language, tone, volume and pace to have a lifelong impact on the audience because in this corporate world, these are the skills that matter not the looks. Students from KIMT, GGNIMT, GNDEC, UBS (PU), and GNIMT participated in the event. The students came up with creative and innovative ideas of presentation styles. In this competition, students of UBS bagged the first position; KIMT was declared second and GNDEC presenters bagged third position. Eminent personalities Mr. Jasminder Singh (CA), Mr. Lokesh Jain (MD, Tk steel rolling Mills pvt Ltd) and Mr Parth Kapur (Director, D.M.K. Castings Pvt Ltd) were amongst the judges.  Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Director of KIMT appreciated the CII for organizing this programme which is specifically designed to provide opportunities to students to adopt methodologies thatSteel Rolling will help sustain results in today’s competitive world.
