 Tree  Plantation Drive organised by the Income Tax Office at GNKCW

A Tree Plantation drive, “Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” was organised today at Venue Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town by Income Tax Office, Ludhiana. This drive has been conducted as part of Swacchta Pakhwada.

Various eminent Personalities who participated in this event were Sh. Vikram Gaur, IRS, Chief  Commisssioner of Income Tax, Ludhiana, Sh. Vivek Nangia, Pr. Commisssioner of Income Tax, Sh. Surendra Kumar, Pr. Commissioner of Income Tax and Sh. Jatinder Kumar Khurana, Income Tax & GST Expert.  To kick start Swacchta Pakhwada, Tree Plantation was followed by an oath-taking ceremony of Swacchta Abhiyan in which various officials from the Income Tax Department participated. While addressing the students, Mr Nangia spoke at length and urged the students to both plant trees and take the Vow of cleanliness.  Principal Dr. Maneeta Kahlon was also present on the occasion.
