Anti-Drug Awareness Drive At KCW

The slogan Writing Competition was organized by the Red Ribbon Club of Khalsa College for Women to create awareness about the menace of Drug Abuse. The activity was based on Anti-Drug Theme 2024, “The evidence is clear: Invest in prevention”. The Awareness Drive encapsulates the core message of staying away from drugs and reminds individuals of the consequences of substance abuse. Anti-drug slogans have the potential to create awareness, motivate individuals to stay away from drugs and provide hope for those seeking recovery. 25 students participated in the competition out of which 3 students namely- Shreya Lamba, Garima Chawla, Navia were adjudged as the winners of the contest. The event was judged by Dr. Aditi Satija (Head, of the Department of Psychology) and Dr. Prableen Toor (Department of English). The Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Kamaljit Grewal applauded the efforts of Mrs. Sheetal Soi (Nodal officer, and Red Ribbon Club).
