Drishti School proudly hosted a vibrant rally on the theme of "Green Diwali," aimed at promoting eco-friendly celebrations and raising awareness about the environmental impact of traditional Diwali practices. The event took place on October 19, 2024 at Gujjarwal village. The rally highlighted the importance of choosing environmentally conscious alternatives during the festive season, encouraging everyone to celebrate Diwali in a way that honors both tradition and the planet.

The rally commenced at 10:00 AM from the school premises and proceeded through the main streets of Gujjarwal Village, culminating in a gathering at the local community center.  Students, teachers, and community members were invited to participate in this vibrant event, which featured Nukkad Natak ‘Roshan Diwali’ to encourage people to celebrate green diwali.

Drishti School believes that fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment is crucial, especially during festive occasions. The rally emphasized the importance of using sustainable decorations, opting for eco-friendly fireworks, and promoting the use of natural materials in celebrations.
