Teachers Day Celebrations at Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana

A teacher not only teaches to count but also what counts in life Kundan Vidya Mandir Sr.Sec school celebrated Teachers Day by honouring and appreciating the teaching fraternity and paying tributes to Dr. S. Radha Krishnan. 

 This auspicious occasion was graced by Mr. Ashwani Kumar, the secretary of Shri Kundan Lal trust, a distinguished member of the trust, Mr Kapil Gupta, the school Vice Principal Mr S B Choudhary and all the section heads. 

 The day began with a warm welcome of the teachers by the students. A performance by the students depicting the crucial role a teacher plays in shaping the life of the students, was a real tribute to the teachers.

The members of the school prefect council expressed their gratitude to their teachers by presenting beautiful cards. After that a cultural programme was presented by the teachers in which performances like games, choreography, modelling, Qawali, skit and a medley of beautiful songs mesmerised the audience.

The officiating principal, Mr S B Choudhary, addressed the gathering emphasizing that teachers are the architects of the future, shaping young minds with knowledge and values. Their unwavering dedication lights the path for every student's success.”

 In the award ceremony various teachers from all the sections were appreciated and honoured for their diligence, sincerity, punctuality, hard work and excellent achievements. In his address, Mr. Ashwani Kumar congratulated the teachers and emphasised that society is undergoing a change at a fast pace and the role of a teacher has also transformed. Hence it is imperative for teachers to update their skills and equip themselves with the latest pedagogies to meet future challenges Miss Ramnik, the staff representative, proposed a vote of thanks.
