Teachers’ day celebrated with zeal at Sacred Heart

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with immense zeal at Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School, B.R.S. Nagar. The function commenced with God’s blessings. The student cabinet presented a token of their love and appreciation to the teachers, the architects of the future generation. Sacred Heartians lauded the teachers for being friends, philosophers and guides to children, leaving an indelible imprint on their tender minds. A beautiful prayer dance was performed by the students connecting everybody with the almighty. A mesmerizing lyrical greeting was performed as an expression of gratitude towards the teachers who focused on their indispensable role as mentors in the school and society. The students left no stone unturned to make the day a memorable one for their teachers with the Western and Punjabi beats. The teachers were overwhelmed and expressed their thanks towards the school management and students for their warm endeavour. Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Father George, the venerated Director of the school and Rev. Sr. Silvi, the worthy Principal of the school acknowledged the relentless services being rendered by the teachers of the school and lauded their contribution for bringing a positive change in the overall behaviour of the students and helping them to realize their goals. Profession with Passion was also presented by the students to show respect towards their dear teachers. The function concluded with the recital of the National Anthem.
